COREY PETERSON- DRUMS

Corey grew up idolizing musicians such as John Bonham and Buddy Rich, he loved their aggressive, ferocious and methodical way of performing. At the young age of fifteen, Corey invested in his first kit and formed “Manican Masquerades” along side his brother Shannon. The band jammed out and played the central New York scene for roughly eight years. In the summer of 2004 the band started fresh with the name “Unison” and they packed their bags and headed south to Florida to pursue bigger aspirations and dreams. Corey performed on the drums for “Unison” while opening for various national acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Train while performing in several big cities such as Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. Corey also had the privilege of performing with his band at The Hard Rock Live Orlando on three different occasions. “Unison” was unique and accomplished in that they created their own music and wrote their own lyrics and ended up recording an album in 2005. The band was known for their high-energy performances and Corey developed techniques that made him a robust and powerful drummer. In 2011 Corey moved to Fredericksburg,Virginia and was enthused to reunite with his brother and have the opportunity to play music along side him once again.  Corey is the backbone &  drummer for “Phoenix 90,” along side his brother, Shannon Peterson and fellow musician Bobby Curtis.

BOBBY CURTIS- BASS
Bobby was born and raised into a musical family where he started playing the guitar and the drums at the early age of six. By the time Bobby was sixteen he was playing local clubs and establishments with his older brothers. Bobby’s musical ability and passion escalated and landed him spots in various thriving bands throughout the years. In 1989, Bobby became the bass player for a well known band "Destiny” and soon after he helped form the band "Tripping on Rats." Bobby began traveling while opening for national acts and playing hot spot venues up and down the East coast. Bobby is thrilled to be performing bass with "Phoenix 90" and rocking out to all different generes of music.  Bobby has a passion and love to play music and he is enthused to be playing bass along side the Peterson brothers.

SHANNON PETERSON- LEAD GUITAR & VOCALS

Shannon’s musical journey began at ten years of age when he asked his father to teach him how to play guitar, from there it was love at first strum. Shannon began performing as an acoustic soloist in various establishments at an early age of fifteen. Two years later he helped form a band called “Manican Masquerades” along with his brother Corey. The band jammed out and played the central New York scene for roughly eight years. In the summer of 2004 the band started fresh with the name “Unison” and they packed their bags and headed south to Florida to pursue bigger aspirations and dreams. While living in Florida, Shannon simultaneously performed in the band and as an acoustic soloist where he performed in multiple venues and establishments. Shannon thrived with “Unison” while singing vocals and playing lead guitar. The band opened for various national acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Train while performing in several big cities such as Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami and Tampa. Shannon also had the privilege of performing with his band at The Hard Rock Live Orlando on three different occasions. “Unison” was unique and accomplished in that they created their own music and wrote their own lyrics and ended up recording an album in 2005. Shannon and his band were known for their high-energy performances and professional persona on stage. In 2006 Shannon left the band and moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia where he established himself as a acoustic soloist and performed at several establishments throughout central Virginia.  Shannon become well known for his three hour break-less shows and his diverse ability to play various genres of music such as alternative rock, classic rock and country.  Shannon has an appreciation for all genres of music and is thrilled to sing and play lead guitar along side his brother Corey Peterson and fellow musician Bobby Curtis.
